Anagrams
Anagrams is a word-finding game where you're given a set of scrambled letters and must form as many valid English words as possible within a time limit. Longer words score more points, and finding the pangram (using all letters) earns a big bonus.
Anagrams Rules
You're given 6-7 scrambled letters. Form valid English words of 3 or more letters by clicking the letter tiles or typing. Press Enter to submit each word.
Each round has a 2-minute time limit. Longer words earn more points: 3 letters = 1 point, 4 = 2, 5 = 4, 6 = 8, 7 = 16 points.
Every round has at least one 'pangram' — a word that uses all the available letters. Finding it earns bonus points and is marked with a special highlight.
Anagrams Strategy & Tips
Start with short words
Quickly find 3- and 4-letter words first to build your score. Don't spend the opening seconds hunting for the pangram.
Use the shuffle button
Rearranging the letters can reveal words you weren't seeing. If you're stuck, hit shuffle to get a fresh visual arrangement.
Think about common prefixes and suffixes
Look for common patterns: -ING, -ED, -ER, -LY, UN-, RE-, PRE-. These can help you spot longer words quickly.
